“Don’t ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody.”

“I went down by a different staircase, and I saw another ‘Fuck you’ on the wall. I tried to rub it off with my hand again, but this one was scratched on, with a knife or something. It wouldn’t come off. It’s hopeless, anyway. If you had a million years to do it in, you couldn’t rub out even half the ‘Fuck you’ signs in the world. It’s impossible.”

I finished this book 2 days ago. I read over 170 pages that day, the most I ever had in just one day. Typically, I’m one of those slow as fuck readers who goes at a snail’s pace. Holden is someone I can relate to. Salinger sucked me in from the beginning. I can’t put into words how much I love this book.
